About this activity
Courage is easier to grow when a child can see it. This sheet turns every brave moment — a first sleepover, a new food, speaking up, sleeping with the light off — into a star that gets coloured in.
It follows Zuri, who learns that the smallest light still counts. By the end of a week, an empty sky is full, and your child can point to exactly why.

How to use it
- Step 1
Agree what counts
Decide together at the start of the week. Trying counts — it does not have to go well to earn a star.
- Step 2
Colour it in straight away
The star means more when it is coloured in the moment, not at the end of the day.
- Step 3
Let them narrate
Ask your child to tell you the story of each star. Retelling is what makes the courage stick.
- Step 4
Finish with the drawing box
At the end of the week, draw the bravest moment of all and stick it somewhere visible.
