Depending on how you use the website, we may collect: - your email address if you join the Little Lantern Club; - your optional email address if you contact us or use Tell Little Lantern; - comments, questions or topic suggestions you choose to submit; - your separate choice about whether Little Lantern Stories may anonymously share part of a caregiver submission; - your separate choice about joining the Little Lantern Club; - basic website analytics information such as pages visited, referral source, device/browser information and general usage patterns.

We do not ask caregivers to provide a child's name, school, home address or other identifying information about a child through Tell Little Lantern.

If you choose to join the Little Lantern Club, we use your email address to send Little Lantern communications.

These may include A Little Lantern Note, caregiver Insights, conversation starters, free activities and printables, and occasional Little Lantern book news or updates.

Joining is voluntary.

Contacting us, downloading a resource or submitting something through Tell Little Lantern does not automatically subscribe you to the Club.

You may unsubscribe at any time.

Tell Little Lantern gives parents and caregivers a place to suggest questions, topics and growing-up moments they would like Little Lantern Stories to explore.

Providing an email address is optional.

Submitting a Tell Little Lantern idea does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.

Themes from submissions may help guide future Insights, stories, activities or other Little Lantern resources.

Please do not include your child's name or other information that could identify them.

We will never publish a caregiver submission simply because it was sent to us.

If we would like permission to anonymously use part of a submission, the website provides a separate optional choice: “Little Lantern Stories may anonymously share part of my comment in a future Insight or Little Lantern Note.”

This option must not be selected automatically.

Where permission has been given, we will remove names and identifying information.

For sensitive subjects, we may paraphrase or combine themes rather than quote a submission directly.
